Here is the rest! Make money!

Skip to Thursday night. Since this is the only real story I can remember that pertains to saying and doing what you mean.

Guy walks in and hasn’t gotten a drink yet. Mind you I don’t target customers that haven’t ordered drinks. If they are in my path when I walk buy they seem like fair game to me.

So a guy walks into a strip club…

As I charm him, as I did, he seemed interested in me so I figured now was the time to bring up the V.I.P.

No deal. He seemed angry that I would take advantage of him so soon. That is when I busted out my policy:

“Sweety I’m going to be busy later look how crowded it is tonight. You’d better snatch me up all to yourself before someone else does. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to come back later.”

With disgust he tells me “Well I guess we just don’t dance tonight then.”

Very well. I cut my losses, gave a shrug and moved on.

Walking past the bar I see a man at the ATM and what table does he go to? The table I just walked away from!

Mainly I saw this as an opportunity that he had just walked in. Not to be a snot as I can I often be, I darted on over and pulled my anti-cock-blocking move, and chatted up the person I followed from the ATM. (No I do not target custies that go to the ATM either.)

You should have seen the look on his friends face when took his buddy into the V.I.P. I made sure not to make any kind of gestures so that I wasn’t perceived as being bitchy, because I wasn’t. It’s just how automatically my mind works and I act on it.

And you should too. Hustle, hustle, hustle and you will learn to hustle better and better.

Your mind is analog. It learns and judges by it’s mistakes. You know what works and what doesn’t. Your brain unconsciously remembers what and how you did something and sometimes it slams the door on bad situations, “Never again!” or it says “What do we have here? I remember this.” and you’ll know exactly what to do.

Not to gloat I felt it was an important part of the story. Limit the options. I limited the guy who bought a dance from me because he was looking for something specific. To be sold on a dance.

I delivered.

Saturday: What a great night that was. Eagerly I was waiting for all the bachelor parties to roll in. I was in early enough to get warmed up, go on stage for a song, ask for a couple of dances and get in hustle mode for the evening.

The first gentleman (and yes I mean it) of the evening didn’t even have a drink yet and we were on our way to the V.I.P. for some reason I did not take no for an answer even after he said “We just got here.” He was with a friend but I quickly whisked him away and $400 later his friend pried him from me and said “Sorry be we have to go.” Very well. It was fun. It really was.

Summary: You can get a dance in the first five minutes. I was not overly pushy either. Sadly some clubs have a rule against getting a dance before a customer gets a drink. If you are not employed by your club, the rule should not apply.

Same busy Saturday night and the place was PACKED. I’d already had a regular come in since the first “gentleman” and was taking a break talking to a friend who frequents the club. Sitting across from us was this really cute guy probably early to mid 40’s and I see all these girls passing him by. Literally he is less than 10 feet away from us. How do I excuse myself from my friend? Oh never mind so and so it going to ask this guy for a dance and he’ll buy one…oh, no he didn’t. Girls keep walking right past him, talking to other men and getting turned down. This guy had a huge flag waving “hey I’m waiting for the right girl to ask me for a dance.”

Well dear, hold out because I’m your girl!

So my friend and I are still in deep conversation and girls keep walking by this poor man who desperately needs me to get up and go talk to him.

I’m too nice and my friend knows the deal so I say: “You know I love talking to you but I need to ask this guy over here for a dance.”

He said “Go right ahead I’m not insulted.”

I gave him a wink as I practically lunged from the couch and just blatantly sat next to the man.

He was really sexy too! Wow. Any how he told me how he just got off work (midnight) and hadn’t been in the club for awhile. We talked and when I felt the time was right I started bringing up the subject of a dance.

His reply was “You know I just want to sit her for awhile but you should come back. I like talking to you, and you’re really cute. ” (Blush.)

With the boldest of confidence I looked him in the eye and said: “I kinda have this policy…”

He asked “Oh. What’s that.”

“Well…” I went on as I shrugged my shoulders “If you don’t buy a dance from me now I probably wont come back.”

Silence.

He looked back at me and asked “So it’s pretty much now or never huh?”

In a super nice way because I didn’t really want to walk away I said “Pretty much.”

He smiled and said “Let’s go.”

Fortune favors the bold people. He didn’t spend tons of money but as I was walking him out he thanked me for convincing him to go back because he thought he was only going to get a dance and then go home.

Summary: Say what you mean, and mean what you say. For every guy that turns me down on any given night I either gently tell them my policy or politely say “Maybe another night.”

Even on a slow night.

Any way. This is going to have to be a two-parter so I can tell you what happened during the rest of my week with my Limit the Options tactic.

Try limiting the options maybe tomorrow night if you’re working and see how it goes. Use your own words, or feel free to use mine…they work. Don’t fight. Don’t struggle. Whatever you do don’t use force. The trick is to be convincing and more so, genuine. They know why you’re there, and vice versa.

I’ll try to do part 2 in the afternoon so you all can have something to work with and ponder for tomorrow night!

I’m not sure if a stripper union would help in a situation like this. Letting the government have their way now means they are going to get their way later too.

And what’s with that uber-cliche “don’t squeeze them” comment. Okay you’re not funny.

State Sen. Ray Basham, D-Taylor, has proposed legislation that would allow local municipalities to require exotic dancers to pay a $250 yearly license fee for taking their clothes off.

Genesee County is home to nine strip clubs, and the idea isn’t sitting well with some local dancers, who say they can’t afford it.

“Tip money is all I make, and sometimes I go home with no money,” said a Flint dancer who declined to give her name.”

Call me a bitch but if you are a stripper and you think $250 a year is a lot of money perhaps a career change is in order. That is less than $25 dollars a month for licensing!

I pay out more in two nights working at my club. Get a real job already.
